We truly are all connected.

April 23rd, 2010

Today, for this one day, get out of bed, put your feet on the floor, and know without a doubt in your mind that we are all connected. See yourself as part of the whole. What does that mean to you and how will it change your day? If you get upset with a co-worker and talk about them, that gossip and angry talk is said about you. If you curse your financial situation, you actually see your money cursing you.

Take a day and think on this. Consider how the energy that you put out there gets thrown back at you. What if, instead, you bless your co-worker, and let go of what made you upset. Have gratitude for the money you do have. Think of all it has given you. If you do, this positive energy is the energy that will come back to you. It is as if your money now blesses you back. If we are truly all connected, then everything you say, think and do, you do to yourself as well. You do to your family, your friends, your God. Take any situation, person, or concern, look at it, and know it looks at you in the same manner. Is this how you would like to be seen?

“At certain moments, always unforeseen, I become happy… I look at the strangers near as if I had known them all my life…everything fills me with affection…It may be an hour before the mood passes, but latterly I seem to understand that I enter upon it the moment I cease to hate.” -William Butler Yeats
