“Breathe through it, and release anything that does not serve you.” As we release our muscles and sink deeper on the physical level, it’s a good idea to do the same on the mental. A great way to do this is by letting go of what no longer serves us. Keeping in mind how powerful our thoughts are, it’s time to let go of old beliefs and habits that we hold about our lives, others, and ourselves. When we stay “stuck” in the same negative thoughts our lives do the same, but as we learn to let go, we make room for the creative force to flow freely. Feel free to bring friends and family even if they are not currently taking yoga classes. Dress comfortably; bring a mat or meditation pillow, as we may also do a bit of Chi Kung breathing and meditation.
